WYNONNA EARP – Season 3 Episode 7 – SPOILERS
Wynonna has sex with Hottie McFireman, accidentally breaks a ceramic garden gnome (as well as a mirror), and semi-officially breaks up with Johnny Hank. (That’s what Michelle calls Doc.) Nicole, who is campaigning for sheriff after Nedley’s retirement announcement, finds she must somehow get the support of Bunny Loblaw (Jann Arden). Besides being xenophobic and homophobic, Bunny, who is Purgatory’s political boss, is allergic to cats, so Haught is not the favourite to win the job. Nedley kept his miniature Warehouse 13 secret from Dolls because he didn’t trust Black Badge. When broken, the ceramic gnome causes its mate (stored in a shed some distance from town) to come alive in human form. (He’s called “mountain man” in the credits.) The mountain man, dressed in a greatcoat and toque, chases Wynonna and Nicole into town demanding that one of them become his new wife. When the female gnome is re-assembled (by Waverly and Jeremy), the male gnome is appeased. He picks up his ceramic wife and leaves peacefully. There is no indication that he returns to a ceramic state, or that his wife takes a form similar to his, though presumably one or the other of those things must happen. Continue reading →
