Dani Kind (Mercedes Gardner) will be Lucille in TWO DEATHS OF HENRY BAKER, a modern-day western that stars Gil Bellows as Henry Baker, a famous outlaw who is released from prison after 25 years. Old friends and old ememies, including a bearded vagrant with an old bullet scar, a drunken deputy with half an ear missing, and a burned out street hustler with a vendetta, trail Henry to the Belair Bar and Hotel in (fictional) Grey County somewhere in the US. Once there, Baker plans to reunite with his son who has been protecting the gold he stashed away before being jailed. Among others in the cast are Jess Salgueiro (Jackie in I’LL TAKE YOUR DEAD) and Tony Curran (Datak Tarr on DEFIANCE).
TWO DEATHS OF HENRY BAKER was written by Sebastian Pigott (Charlie in “I Fall To Pieces“), and filmed in and around Ottawa. (The bar scenes were filmed at McCloskey’s in Chesterville, Ontario.)
