BUSINESS ETHICS cast members Larenz Tate, Vitaly Makarov, and Shauna MacDonald with Director Nick Wernham,
Shauna MacDonald (Dean Peretti in O Kappa, My Kappa) will be Fräulein Stumpf in the dark comedy BUSINESS ETHICS, which is about a man (Larenz Tate) who sets out to run a Ponzi scheme. He is assisted in his efforts by Edwin Murk, a wealthy but crooked investment manager, and Veronica, his loyal but unsuspecting assistant who develops unrequited feelings for him. (Murk is played by Gil Bellows, who starred in the original short film.) Alyssa Veniece, (Riley, the hotel maid whose uniform was appropriated by Bo in Like Hell, Part 1) will play a character named Cellar. No word yet on a release date.
Lisa Berry (Serena in ArachnoFaebia) will be Candace Cranston in POWER RANGERS (the latest installment in that franchise) which follows five high school teens with unique superpowers who learn that their small town of Angel Grove (and the world) is on the verge of being obliterated by aliens. The five quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome personal issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it’s too late. It seems possible that Candace Cranston is in some way related to Billy Cranston (the original Blue Power Ranger). A trailer is available on YouTube. POWER RANGERS will be released in the US and Canada on 24 March 2017.

Emmanuelle Vaugier (The Morrigan) will appear in two films coming out next year. She will be Lauren in the dark, supernatural thriller MASKS DON’T LIE, the story of Nora and her friend Daniela (Anna Hutchinson). The two women are invited to celebrate Carnival at a masked ball in Venice (Italy). Daniela wakes to find herself drugged and in a room filled with men who are celebrating something else entirely; and while searching for her friend, Nora follows someone she thinks she knows, and discovers that on a previous visit to Venice, she left a deadly secret behind.
Vaugier is also Gabrielle in WASHED AWAY, a TV movie about a recently widowed woman who, while on a business trip, spots her deceased husband alive and well and comes to realize that he has faked his death. Written by Roslyn Muir (who also wrote THE BIRDWATCHER) the film is set in San Francisco, and began production in Winnipeg last August.
