Sean Patrick Thomas and Selma Blair in CRUEL INTENTIONS
In the next episode of RINGER (to air 31 January) Mädchen Amick will be Greer Sheridan, a "socialite" Siobhan used to know who comes back into the Martin’s lives, possibly to fill the void left by Gemma, who met her demise in episode 10. Amick’s first role was as teenaged Anya in the STTNG episode "The Dauphin" in 1989. More recently, she was Janie Jones in CALIFORNICATION. Her latest film is a vampire flick called PRIEST, which has been out on DVD since last August, and which co-stars Maggie Q of NIKITA and Karl Urban (Dr. McCoy in the STAR TREK reboot).
Sean Patrick Thomas was Selma Blair’s music teacher in CRUEL INTENTIONS. In RINGER, his character will be Solomon. Nothing more is known about Solomon at this time. In a previous episode of RINGER, Ginger Williams (Clorissa in CRUEL INTENTIONS) was the receptionist in the office of Siobhan’s shrink.

The 1955 Jaguar Roadster, subject of the wager in CRUEL INTENTIONS
Archie's Morgan +8 in SUBURBAN GIRL
The two most interesting vehicles in Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s films have to be the 1956 Jaguar Roadster in CRUEL INTENTIONS, and the Morgan +8 in SUBURBAN GIRL. Gellar drove neither of these. They are both convertibles, and the latter can no longer be purchased in the United States. In I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, the car involved in the hit-run accident was a 1996 BMW 328i with a sun roof, and Helen Shivers didn’t drive that one either.
The BMW convertible driven by Cindy Bandolini in HARVARD MAN
In THE RETURN, Gellar’s character, Joanna Mills, drove a 2005 Dodge Ram 4×4. In HARVARD MAN, Cindy Bandolini drove a 2000 BMW 3 series convertible.
The Rutledge Mercedes in SWANS CROSSING
The 05 Dodge Ram driven by Joanna Mills in THE RETURN
Gellar’s first starring role on television was as Sydney Rutledge in the short-lived teen soap SWANS CROSSING (1992). In that series, the Rutledge car was a Mercedes 560SL convertible from the late 1980’s.
Ginger Williams in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (Episode 34)
Ginger Williams was in Buffy for about a minute as Angel’s victim in Rumania that brought the gypsy curse upon him. She was in CRUEL INTENTIONS for a bit longer as Clorissa. In Episode 9 of RINGER, she was the receptionist in the office of Dr. Anabel Morris (Merle Dandridge).
Dandridge was Lacey Shepard in one episode of ANGEL.
The really good news from this episode is that Gemma (Tara Summers) is alive, if not well, and tied to a chair in a Brooklyn basement. We got the first view of Gemma and Henry Butler’s twins as well, although the children portraying them are not credited. Since the twins have red hair like their mother, and Henry has dark hair, it is likely, though not necessary, that one of Henry’s parents has red hair as well.
