Shiri Loo as 'screaming woman' in the fictional film SUMMER CAMP SLASHER
Summer Camp Slasher title card RINGER Episode 15
We don’t know much about Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character Siobhan, except that she is something of a bitch, and is nothing at all like her nice sister Bridget. But now, for the first time we know something of her personal taste in cinema. Apparently her (fictional) favourite film is SUMMER CAMP SLASHER.
This reminds me a bit of the fictional favourite film of Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano), KILL IT BEFORE IT DIES. This was referenced in no less than three CHARMED episodes, Chick Flick, Bride and Gloom, and Sense and Sense Ability. The lead victim in Kill It etc. was played by Leslie Lauten, who is currently with the Groundlings Improv Company in LA.

Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell in CHARMED
The screaming woman in Siobhan’s slasher flick is played by Shiri Loo. It is apparently her first acting gig and nothing else is known about her at this time. (Anyone knowing any more about her, please comment on this post.)
Chris Payne Gilbert was the protagonist Billy in KILL IT BEFORE IT DIES, and his last appearance on TV was in the CRIMINAL MINDS episode Closing Time that aired 15 February.
Michelle Stafford spent about a minute with Sarah Michelle Gellar onscreen in Episode 3 of RINGER. Her character’s name is Peggy Lewis. Peggy has two children, Wally (whose age we don’t know) and Becca (who is in the eighth grade). Her husband’s name is Jack and he works for Deltona and Avercamp. Peggy ran into Shivette (Bridget being Siobhan) in the elevator of the building housing the law firm of Pierce, Zimmerman, & McDonald. Peggy had been shopping at FAO Schwarz. She is utterly amazed that Siobhan suggested they get together for lunch.

Stafford accurately described her character to TV Guide as “really nosy and very much in your face — one of those me, me, me types who talks a mile a minute”.
I really want to see more of this character. There is no indication yet if she is going to be a regular on the show. Stafford’s first TV role was in a soap opera aimed at teens that lasted only 6 episodes on FOX in 1990. It was called TRIBES, and it was apparently sort of a precursor to SWANS CROSSING, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and aired some two years later. Episodes 1 through 4 of TRIBES are available on YouTube.
