RINGER – Season 1 Episode 22 – SPOILERS
Bridget Kelly has a nightmare that has Bodaway Macawi showing up at her wedding. She decides, with the help of a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, to come clean about her identity (to Andrew and Juliet).
Siobhan Martin decides, ostensibly, to give up her campaign of revenge against her sister and commits to moving to Chicago with Henry. She offers Henry the money (Andrew’s) for a down payment on a house there, as a gesture of good faith.
Let’s see how all this honesty and good will works out for them.
Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd), who is a crook himself, and regularly lied to his clients, is outraged that Bridget lied to him in an effort to protect herself against Bodaway Macawi. He suggests to Bridget that she should leave. Juliet somehow equates Bridget’s behaviour with that of her natural mother Catherine. (Catherine twice tried to assassinate Bridget, and perpetrated a financial scam on her ex-husband which involved Juliet.) Juliet also shuns Bridget.
Then there’s Henry Butler. With access to Siobhan’s cache of Andrew’s money, he promptly steals it and kicks her, penniless, out on the street (remember, she has just given birth to twin girls).
As Dr. Gregory House says, “Everybody lies.” Perhaps there is a good reason for that.
