– Ali Liebert in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
Ali Liebert and Zoie Palmer in LOST GIRL episode 4.3. Palmer will star in an episode of Investigation Discovery’s Real Detective.
Ali Liebert will guest star on the CW’s
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
Ali Liebert will appear in at least one episode of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW as Lindsay Carlisle, a nurse in 1958 small-town America who meets, and possibly becomes romantically entangled with, time-traveler Sara Lance. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will premiere on the CW 21 January at 8pm.
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance, the White Canary, who is in no way related to the character of the same name from the DC comic books.
At the start of the episode Sara is consumed by a quest for bloodshed and incapable of having romantic feelings for anyone. (These things may be a side effect of the resurrection process.) Executive Producer Phil Klemmer told Entertainment Weekly: “The strict social norms of the fifties makes this the last place Sara Lance would ever expect to find love with a young, closeted nurse, but that’s how love works — it finds you. When Sara first meets Lindsay Carlisle, she finds herself in the position of caring about someone for the first time in forever — an idea she’s not entirely sure she’s ready for. It’s easy for our cold hearted assassin to kill a hundred
people, but does she have the ability to care about one?””

in the 2009 FRINGE episode August
For those not familiar with ARROW, Lance was originally the Black Canary (one of several masked crimefighters in Starling City). She died and was resurrected by the waters of the Lazarus Pit in Nanda Parbat. While she was dead, her sister took over the identity of the Black Canary, so after her resurrection, Sara became the White Canary. In LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, she will be recruited by time-traveler Rip Hunter (along with The Atom, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Firestorm) to help stop the villain Vandal Savage and his army.

NIKITA episode Girl’s Best Friend
In episode 5 of Investigation Discovery‘s new show REAL DETECTIVE, Zoie Palmer is Leigh Maroni, a young homicide detective who makes the mistake of getting too close to a case. As Maroni uncovers dark secrets that led to the murder of a young man, she is forced to share those secrets with the victim’s devastated mother.
The episode is titled “Retribution” and airs 4 February at 10pm.
REAL DETECTIVE is an 8-part television series about real life detectives, and each episode tells the story of a different detective and the one case that affected him or her most profoundly. The story is invariably told from the detective’s point of view. Of the eight investigators whose cases are described in the series, Zoie Palmer’s character is the only woman.
The first tweet from Zoie Palmer about DARK MATTER Season Two was on the day production of Episode 2 began (3 January): “Headed to the set of @dark_matterTV tomorrow for a very special kind of rehearsal…” and on 5 January she tweeted: “Headed to @dark_matterTV for a very special kind of shoot (Okay I wont do this every day cuz we shoot for like five months so I’ll stop now)” The show began filming in Toronto on 9 December. It looks like Palmer does not appear in the first episode of Season Two, but will be in all of the remaining twelve DARK MATTER episodes.
Amanda Tapping directed episode one, which wrapped on 19 December. The 2nd episode is directed by Bruce McDonald, who directed LOST GIRL episode 5.11 (Sweet Valkyrie High).
