Morgan Kelly as Bruce Lippe in the psychological thriller BLOOD HONEY. The film is currently available on VOD in Canada, and will be released in the US
on 1 February.
Morgan Kelly (Alvis Akari) and Kimberly-Sue Murray (Louella Simms) star as Elle and Tyler in the made-for-TV thriller TWISTED, about Kara (Elisabeth Harnois), who has spent months getting her boyfriend Tyler back on his feet after a turbulent time in his life. The two are planning to marry and everything is perfect until Tyler’s ex, Elle, returns from rehab and wants her old boyfriend back. Elle is sexy, outspoken, and daring (and Kara is none of those things). What starts off as one woman’s desire to hold on to her fiancé turns into a twisted game of cat and mouse, as Kara tries to survive Elle’s jealous wrath. Written by Barbara Kymlicka (who wrote TINY HOUSE OF TERROR), and directed by Philippe Gagnon, TWISTED began filming in Montreal in October. There is no word yet on when it will air.
Kelly will also be a character named Manusco in Episodes 3.3 and 3.5 of THE EXPANSE. No information is available on Manusco, but another character, Katoa Merton (Jaeden Noel), who will also appear in both those episodes, is a friend of Prax’s daughter Mei-Meng. Both Katoa and Mei were being treated by Dr. Strickland for Myers-Skelton Premature Immunosenescence on Ganymede, and the two are assumed to have been kidnapped by the doctor, and subjected to the influence of the protomolecule. One might speculate that Manusco will somehow help Prax locate Dr. Strickland and his experimental subjects. Continue reading →
VAN HELSING – Season 2 Episode 13 – SPOILERS
After the death of her mother, Abigail (Brianna Deutsch) receives a vial containing the blood of The First. In this photo, Abigail looks to be about ten years old. She gave Scarlett to the Harkers about thirty years ago. If her mother was killed by The Elders when she was ten, The Elders must have been entombed during the 1960s.
Scarlett (Missy Peregrym) and Abigail (Andee Frizzell) hike through the mountains toward the Elder’s tomb. Dimitri, Scab, and Ivory are also headed there. At the insistence of her mother (the real Abigail, not the imposter from Episode 2.10), they stop to rest, and Scarlett notices a pendant on her mother’s neck.
SCARLETT: “What is that on your neck?”
ABIGAIL: “Blood. I’ve been wearing this since I was a kid.”
SCARLETT: “That’s creepy. Whose is it?”
ABIGAIL: “It’s blood from the dark one. The first.”
SCARLETT: “The dark one?”
ABIGAIL: “Don’t say his name. Legend has it he can hear it.”
SCARLETT: “You don’t really think that he’s alive?”
ABIGAIL: “Yes, I do. I was given this just after my mother was killed by the elders.”
SCARLETT: “So my great-grandmother gave that to you. Why? What for?”
ABIGAIL: “I don’t know. It’s supposed to have some kind of special powers, but they haven’t… I was experimenting on this when I was pregnant with the two of you. I was trying to find a cure.” Continue reading →
