Anna Hardwick (Maddy in Faes Wide Shut) is in Sweden for a week working with Tyst Teater (theatre for the deaf), workshopping To a Flame, a new play by Erin Shields. (The play is described in Hardwick’s blog as ‘Gothic Horror’.)
Working with Hardwick on this project is actor Lisa Karen Cox, who appeared in episode #16 of THE FIRM; an episode that has two LOST GIRL connections. Alex Paxton Beesley (Lola the Kitsune) is in the cast, and the director is Lee Rose, who directed four episodes of LOST GIRL, including Adventures In Fae-bysitting.
LOST GIRL made four webisodes to transition from Season 3 to Season 4. and all four of them are available on YouTube. In webisode two, May is played by Alyssa Capriotti, Capriotti will star, along with Alex Paxton Beezley (Lola in The Kenzi Scale), in the romcom DIRTY SINGLES, due to be released soon.
In the third webisode, the narrator is LOST GIRL Executive Story Editor Steve Cochrane. Cochrane has written six episodes of the series, the most recent being Hale, Hale. Also in webisode 3, Mrs. Johnson is played by Monica Dottor, who was Paula in the 2012 film PICTURE DAY, which stars ORPHAN BLACK’s Tatiana Maslany.
LOST GIRL Season 3 will be available in the US on DVD and Blu-Ray on 19 November. It is now on Amazon Instant Video and iTunes.
Emmanuelle Vaugier has another painting up for auction on eBay. The 12 x 16 oil on canvas comes in a wood frame with a seal of authenticity and an autographed picture as well. Proceeds from the sale will go to charity. Auction will end 10 November, shortly after 1600 PST.
