In a dream sequence from LESBIAN COPS (Part 4), Officer Tori Jones encounters, among others, her mom and dad. And her mom looked familiar. I knew I recognized her from somewhere, but had to ask who she was. Turns out she is Sandra Purpuro, and the reason I found her face familiar is an OBSCURUS LUPA review of another film she did back in 1996.
Scott Shaw, the great-nephew (!) of George Bernard Shaw, made TOAD WARRIOR that year, and Purpuro played a character named Cricket. Obscurus Lupa’s review of this film explained its importance (or lack thererof) but Shaw objected and this resulted in a re-edit of Lupa’s review.
Happily there will be a season 2 of LESBIAN COPS.
