MALCOLM WARD HEADS FOR NY
Malcolm Ward (Mike Colter), Bridget’s NA sponsor from Wyoming, escaped his captors and fled Rock Springs, WY by bus. He knocks out his pursuer in a cafe restroom, and makes his way to New York City to see Bridget.
One of the biggest problems with Bridget Kelly as a character is that all of her relationships are fake. She pretends to be Andrew’s wife, to be Henry’s ex-mistress, to be Juliet’s stepmother, to be Gemma’s best friend. She is, in actuality, none of these things (though she may wish to be). She is in love with Malcolm. The character will be much more believable should she be able to express that.
Malcolm escapes his pursuers at the Halfway House Cafe, which, if the roadsign shown shortly before his arrival there is to be believed, is in Rawlins, Wyoming. All the Halfway House Cafes with which I am familiar are in California. There are three cafes in Rawlins and none of them have that name.
We did find out Malcolm’s address (along with the fact that he puts a second ‘L’ in his name) from a
letter in a drawer in his apartment. He lives at 77 Canton Rd, Rock Springs, WY 82901.
