Marci T House (Major Stoker in “Seen You“) will be Aunt Cindy in Episode 13 of LIFE SENTENCE, a comedy about Stella (Lucy Hale), who for a while thought she was about to die but is unexpectedly cured of her illness. Stella must face the consequences of the decisions she made when she believed her days were numbered. The first episode of LIFE SENTENCE will air on The CW on Wednesday, 7 March at 9pm, immediately following RIVERDALE. Catherine Lough Haggquist (Beth in “Stay Away“) is Dr. Greene and Marci T. House is a forensic officer in FIFTY SHADES FREED, the third and final film in the franchise, in which Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey return to Seattle, and Anastasia tries to adjust to married life. (Dr. Green appears in all three of the books, but only in the third film.) FIFTY SHADES FREED had its world premiere in France on 6 February, and is now playing in theatres worldwide.
Yvette Dudley-Neuman (Big Mama in Episode 2.8) will star as building manager Bernie Brindle in the web series THE FREE TABLE, a poignant and funny look at the physical, spiritual, and emotional connections we have to the things we own. Newly single Kate (Kyla Wise) decides to let go of some things that have been keeping her stuck in the past and sets up a free table in the laundry room of her apartment building. Other tenants start to give to and take from Kate’s table and it proves to be a unique and meaningful source of community interaction. Life is full of stuff, and the series pays homage to the beauty that resides in things and how we can connect to it. THE FREE TABLE is currently filming in Vancouver.
Emily Haine (Cara in “Be True“) will appear as a barista in the Jason Reitman comedy TULLY, a film about Marlo (Charlize Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, whose brother, in an effort to ease her struggles, arranges for her to have a night nanny. Hesitant at first, Marlo forms an unique bond with the thoughtful and surprising young nanny (whose name is Tully). TULLY will be the opening night film at the Miami Film Festival (9 March at the Olympia Theatre). Festival director Jaie Laplante said: “Charlize Theron’s fearless performance as a struggling suburban mother on the brink of losing mental control is made possible by another brilliant collaboration by the creators of Juno and Young Adult. Tully is both a parable and a salve for our stressed-out times.” (Reitman directed the Oscar-winning 2007 film JUNO, and Diablo Cody wrote the screenplay for both JUNO and TULLY,) A trailer is available on YouTube. Haine is also Bunny in SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: HOME AGAIN (the most recent of the ten films in the series about a group of postal detectives who work to solve the mysteries behind undeliverable letters), which will next air on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel on 11 February at 5pm as part of an SSD movie marathon.
Alison Wandzura (Lucky) will be Marsha Roberts in Episode 2.5 of the AT&T original series ICE, an hour-long drama about Jake and Freddy Green (played by Cam Gigandet and Jeremy Sisto) and their adventures in the culturally diverse and treacherous world of the diamond business. The second season of ICE will launch on Audience Network on Wednesday, 28 March at 10pm.
Jennifer Cheon (Ivory) appeared as a paramedic in Episode 1.4 of the show, titled “Two Handkerchiefs”, (in which Jake and Freddy smuggle Lady Rah’s diamonds into Vancouver, but things don’t go as planned, and new evidence comes to light in the Kreshman case).
