Jodelle Ferland (Five) will narrate the audiobook version of WONDER WOMEN: 25 INNOVATORS, INVENTORS, AND TRAILBLAZERS WHO CHANGED HISTORY, which describes itself as a “fun and feminist look at some of the forgotten womem in science and technology”. Written by Sam Maggs, author of THE FANGIRL’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, the book also includes interviews with contemporary women in STEM careers, an extensive bibliography, and a guide to women-centric science and technology organizations. Anthony Lemke (Three) and Bailee Madison star in THE NIGHT BEFORE HALLOWEEN, a film about a Halloween prank gone wrong. The pranksters inadvertently unleash a monster, and it tracks them down and will kill them all unless its murderous intent can be shifted to another target. Filmed in Hamilton, Ontario, THE NIGHT BEFORE HALLOWEEN will air on SyFy (US) on 29 October at 9pm.
Alex Mallari, Jr. (Four) will be Chief Edward Marino in episode five of the TV series DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, a show in which Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) becomes President of the US because he’s the ranking official left alive after an attack. The show was filmed in Toronto, and premiered on ABC (US) and CTV (Canada) on 21 September. Episode five will air on Wednesday 26 October at 10pm.

Kris Holden-Ried (Galactic Authority Inspector Kierken) will be the recurring character Eyvind (probably Eyvind Lamb, a friend of King Harald) in the fifth season of VIKINGS, an Irish-Canadian historical drama inspired by the tales of the raiding, trading, and exploring Norsemen of early medieval Scandinavia. Season Five of VIKINGS will premiere on The History Channel in the US and on Showcase in Canada in early 2017.
Melanie Liburd (Nyx Harper) will be Alexis in all ten first season episodes of the 2017 Netflix series GYPSY, a psychological thriller written by Lisa Rubin that follows the journey of Jean Holloway (Naomi Watts), a therapist who begins to develop dangerously intimate relationships with the people in her patients’ lives. Sam Taylor-Johnson, who directed FIFTY SHADES OF GREY, will direct the first two episodes of the series, which began filming in New York on 27 September and will have its premiere on Netflix in 2017.
