LINDA PARK (the best thing about Star Trek:Enterprise) GUEST-STARRED IN THIS EPISODE!
When did Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) become a gambling addict? First he and House bet on the chickens (which I thought were simply a metaphor used to help illuminate Amber Tamblyn‘s departure from the show), but now Wilson is betting on prizefights and gloating about winning. Has he gone mad?
As for House, he is behaving much like he should, pursuing the diagnosis above all else. But one would think that he would be a bit more cautious about using himself as a guinea pig for an almost completely untested drug. I mean, he is a doctor and all.
The real news from this episode is that House’s “team” has decided that without House they are bumbling idiots who cannot recognize the obvious. Presumably the reason House ignored the patient of the week is that it was obvious she had no real disorder, but was being poisoned. The poisoner actually told Dr. What’s Her Name that she had been poisoned. And he acted really suspicious about it. So it takes a whole episode for anybody to put this together? And when House is away, isn’t Foreman (the doctor, not the boxer) supposed to be in charge?
If House recovers from this, he should fire everybody again and get a new team.
I mean the writers.
