There will be plenty of Tim Rozon on TV in the next 30 days. He appears in FLASHBACK, a film about an American soldier (played by Roxanne McKee) who returns from Iraq to discover she’s being blamed for a friendly fire incident that killed two Americans. She becomes the target of an obsessed soldier seeking revenge for their deaths. FLASHBACK will air on on Lifetime Movie Network 14 March at 12pm. Rozon’s character Mutt shaved off his beard in the middle of the second season of SCHITT’S CREEK (which premieres on PopTV in the US on 16 March at 8pm), and that might be because of his role as the moustachioed Doc Holiday on WYNONNA EARP, which will premiere on SyFy on 1 April at 10pm, and on CHCH-TV in Canada on 4 April.
Christina Rosato (Sheri the Selkie in Fae Gone Wild) will be Helvetica in iZombie episode 2.16, due to air on 29 March. She will also be Christina in the film MISS HOLLYWOOD, a psychological thriller about two models who become involved in some deadly intrigue. Cinematographer Karim Hussain described the film as an English-language re-make of director Olivier Abbou‘s first major work, which was a 2007 French TV mini-series, but this time “it’s quite a radically different take on the first one, the second half is completely different and it looks completely different as well”.
Inga Cadranel has co-authored (with Gabriel Hogan) an app called Backlot Casting. The app will enble actors to send self-tapes quickly and easily from a mobile device. A beta version will be available soon.
THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE will premiere on Starz on 10 April, but Jenny Raven‘s first appearance as Erin Robert’s assistant will be in episode eight. (Erin Roberts is played by Mary Lynn Rajskub who will co-star with Ksenia Solo in Taron Lexton‘s IN SEARCH OF FELLINI.)
The movie COLD DECK, with Jenny Raven as Nadine and Kate Trotter as Audrey, is about a down and out gambler who plots to rob a high-stakes poker game. The film was released last December, and can be rented or purchased from either Amazon Video or iTunes.
